Chef Aman Lakhiani, born in Jakarta, Indonesia to an Indian family, has loved food and cooking since he was a young boy. With a family that always had a passion for food, he travelled the world and fell in love with Japanese cuisine when he got the chance to travel there. Spending time in Tokyo at the Tsukiji Sushi Academy as well as Dos Palillos, seeing Japanese cuisine through the eyes of Albert Raurich, former head chef of El Bulli, in Barcelona. All his experiences has accumulated to the opening of Junsei Yakitori and Bar, a culmination of Chef Aman Lakhiani’s love for cooking over charcoal and Japanese cuisine.
Agent, Louise Leftwich, joined the Deborah McKenna Limited in 2012. Louise started out in Theatre, working in both casting and actor agenting before finding her calling at DML. Louise has a keen interest in nurturing fresh talent, she is particularly passionate about finding talent through YouTube and Social Media platforms who have the potential to grow their careers across the wider media world. Louise has a degree in Performing Arts where she specialised in Directing, her background in the arts and casting has given her a keen eye for spotting talent across both presenting and writing. Louise has also developed her skills and knowledge in the publishing sector throughout her time at DML and is highly driven to help those who dream of being an author to realise their potential and get their first book published.
