Yellow Lemon Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups basmati rice
  • ¾ cup frozen peas
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ cup cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
