Reindeer Stew with Red Rubies from the North
Ingredients
- 500 g rein deer
- (should be in the frozen section or order on line from some of the scandi shops in the UK)
- Butter
- 2 yellow onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 250 ml cream
- 250 ml water (or milk)
- 2 tbs concentrated black currant juice
- 2 tbs beef stock
- 2 pinches of white pepper
- 2 tbs corn starch (optional)
- 150 ml lingon berries (fresh or frozen)
- 50 ml finely chopped parsley or thyme
- Cooked potatoes for serving
